for spring break this year a big group of friends went to breckenridge, co to ski and snowboard. my parents flew out there and the rest of us drove. 22 hours. it was a rough drive but well worth it. thanks mom and dad for everything! mom cooked more food than i ever seen before, and the boys ate it all. we all had a blast, but i must say my booty still hurts from falling quite frequently.

this was my 3rd and final debutante. it took place on valentines weekend. We had so much fun! BA and wes (newly engaged) came into town for it! Deb season is over, and i am shedding no tears :)

dont worry its not me :) but one of my best friends did get engaged and i got to take part in planning it! and then i cried like a baby when it happened. so here's the story. o man i lied so much in the weeks prior to this engagement! so we went to this place called easely amused. it's the most fun painting place! they already have what you are going to paint and they teach you step by step how to paint it then you get to keep it! (ive got back a few times, i just love it) well anyway, 3 couples went and it was only the 6 of us in a class and we were painting a little chapel (funny how that one turned out ;) so we "decided" to make it into a competition between boys and girls...so girls cant see what the boys are painting and they cant see ours, losers buy dinner (duh the boys would lose) so the lady starts teaching the class and being the competitive girls we are, we stay super focused and paint like champs. meanwhile the boys are painting something totally different. we finish up and the boys come to our side and oooohh and ahhh over our paintings, then we go to their side and she this...

bc of my incredible dad i was able to go to the national championship game. it was so stinking awesome, im so thankful for that memory. not only did i get to go and auburn won, i also got to go to the spa. who doesnt love the spa!? it was glorious. i had one of the best turkey sandwiches ive ever tasted, drooled during my massage, and had this treatment done that included 11 giant shower heads...needless to say it was pretty fabulous! thanks so much for a great weekend dad! (moo i still owe you some $$$) WAAARRRR EEEAAAAGLLLLEEEE, HEY!

oh being a deb is exhausting, im thankful i survived all 3 (PTL i only had 3). but really i did have fun at all of them and am thankful i got to be in 3 very different ones. the 1st one (already blogged about) i had no idea what to expect but it was fun and my dad escorted me, the 2nd one was on new years eve and i was escorted by my uncle. it was so much fun and i loved my dress! ian's entire family came up for this one! they stayed at the farm and we did their families xmas the next day. thanks for being so supportive of my debutanteness (yes i made that up) the 3rd debutante was over valentines day, but were not that far in our time travels yet, so youll see that later on, pretend you didnt know it was coming...heres the end of december and the beginning of january!

i coached a upward basketball team this past season and we had so much fun! my room mate and i coached 5 year olds. they were hysterical! all boys and 1 girl. i loved every second of "coaching" them. we had practice once a week and games on saturdays. they were so precious. our team name was the huskies...and of course we DOMINATED!

i dont have a bucket list, but if i did a garth brooks concert would most definitely be on there. well there would have been one giant check mark beside that concert bc i got to go see him!!! for ian's xmas present he got tickets to go see garth in nashville! it was so incredible, when i wasnt singing at the top of my lungs i was just sitting there with my mouth wide open staring. thanks so much mr. and mrs. g! it was such a fun weekend, one that ill never forget!! and one of my very best friends met us up there for the concert!

we went home the first weekend of December to ride THE polar express with the Walker famjam. it was very thrilling, not only did we see santa but we also got cookies and milk! Thanks for inviting us moo-love! the next morning we ran in the jingle bell 5k with the entire Walker family. What a trip. All runners tie jingle bells to their tennis shoes for the race. We had so much fun! im not sure the Walkers would say the same thing, as they pushed a stroller for 3.1 miles. haha i dont remember my time, but i do remember why we were waiting to start this group of ladies had shirts on that said "your workout is our warm up" so being the competitive girl i am, i decided i was going to beat every single one of them. So with the help of ian and his encouragement we beat all their tails. it was a very fun memory!

November 16-17th was a roadtrip! me, ian, and some of our very best friends went to B'ham to see Needtobreathe in concert at the Alabama Theatre! They were so incredible! We also got to see some of our friends in the ham. The next day we headed to starkville for the state/arkansas game. We had awesome seat! and i was on TV! Out of the 4 of us, 3 had on razorback red and 1 had on maroon. We picked the right team bc arkansas won! woo pig sooie!!!

volleyball season is now over and i am loving the free time. one down side is now i have to force myself to exercise daily...that can be hard when i usually just want to take a nap. it's nice that my body can now recover from all the beatings i received from the court floor. all my bruises have healed! and i get to go home some now! looking forward to next season!

yesterday was ian's 21st birthday, i decided it would be logical for me to take on the task of cooking for 16 people...most being boys. i survived but definitely couldnt have done it alone! i had a lot of help from BA and wes. i would have been lost without them! everything turned out good for the most part...still not as good as my mom's but im learning! one of ian's presents from me was a box of 850 gumballs. yes, that would be 16 pounds of gumballs. he loved them, but if his jaw breaks we all know why!

kamp was a blast this summer, i was so blessed to be able to spend 3 months out there. i had the best of both worlds! for a month i was a counselor for 12 crazy girls, and for the next 2 months i got to work on the ropes course with my 2 best friends! it was a great summer in the ozarks!

last saturday ian and i went to a tim mcgraw concert in new orleans! i got the tickets in november, so we were very excited for a long time! we had such a blast! i found a good deal on some floor seats so we sat in the very front section on row 13! needless to say i was so close i could see the sweat on tims face! Lady Antebellum opened for him which was also very fun to see! being so close was so awesome. i almost cried (moo-love cried in celine dion, so it must run in the family :) anyways the concert was pretty exciting and we had so much fun singing our hearts out to tim!

ian surprised me with tickets to opening day of the mississippi braves baseball game! we had really awesome seats, 5th row right next to home plate! it was such a fun date, we ate hot dogs for dinner and ate ALOT of sunflower seeds. and because it was opening day after the game they had fireworks! the braves lost 3-4 but we still had fun!

mom's birthday was march 6th and i was able to go home and celebrate with her! We cooked out at moo and g's. Since i'm becoming a big girl i was in charge of bringing something to the dinner...weird. they put me in charge of salad...so it wasnt too hard! I was glad i was able to get home for the weekend! spring break was so great!!. a definitely much needed break. jojo ian and i went to orlando for the week and i got to stay with the buckners and the boys stayed at the gauntts down the street. we played putt putt in the dark and in the daylight, went to rebounderz, went to busch gardens, had lots of great meals, and just got to have some great time off from school. then we came back to alabama to fish and shoot guns. wish spring break could have been longer! thanks so much for everything mr. and mrs. G and mr. and mrs. buckner!

im officially car searching. my brother is coming back to the states and so he gets his car back that ive had since i was 16. i have loved driving the yukon! so while car searching i came upon some just wonderful cars but a little out of my price range, but it has been fun looking. here are some things i have looked at...

now you know i would love an orange car. and you cant go wrong with a jeep wrangler, but in the long run...not a smart decision

just a fantasy of mine. mom i would even get silver so i would be safe!

it snowed in 49 of the 50 states on feb. 12th! it was very comical getting the old snow suits out of the attic. anniboo wore mine, i wore olivers, and ian wore my dads. haha quite funny. we had so much fun playing in the snow! and the next day was ding ding's birthday! a great weekend at home!

a couple of weekends ago the buckners and the gauntts came up to go hunting for the weekend and hang out! we had a blast! it wasnt as successful as we would have like, but at least bretty shot something, but other than that...nothing. the weather was really weird, the sun rarely came out, and the wind were swirling which is never good, so didnt turn out to be the best weekend for hunting, but we did have alot of fun! guess that just means they will have to come back!

one of my christmas presents was a plane ticket to orlando to see ian, his family, and the buckners! so on the 30th i flew down there. Ian's sweet aunt got us tickets to disney for new years! we got to go to epcot and see the greatest firework show i have ever seen! it was so much fun. we had lots of crazy adventures in orlando. we went to a place called rebounderz where all the wall and floors are trampolines! i thought we would end up in the emergency room, but we survived! we watched the florida game and had an awesome dinner at the buckners house. the next day we went to the beach and i got to meet ian's brother, sister-in-law, and new nephew! the place where we stayed was beautiful and we had so much fun! it was so good to finally get to meet the rest of the fam! we had some delicious food, fished, played board games, and just got to hang out! it was pretty cold to be in florida, we were all fishing in sweatpants and sweatshirts. it was a great weekend though! thanks so much for all the memories mr. and mrs g!!!

ian left to go home on the 20th, and the beale's came in on the 21st! it was so nice to have them here for xmas! there were some new traditions that started this year. its weird to have things change when your the baby of 4. i think everything went very well though!

the whole famjam (- pam and o + ian) went to callaway gardens to fantasy in lights! we all piled in one car illegally to get there. oops some family members were not so happy about being in small spaces with the whole fam. hysterical. we walked around different parts of callaway then piled back into the car with 9 people, 2 giant bags of cotton candy, 1 funnel cake, and lots of popcorn to drive through the lights! ian, ca ca, AH, and i were in the very back with the trunk window open to we could look out. ca ca is obsessed with blue cotton candy and got it everywhere! it was a great family outing to say the least!

i had never played jenga before, then one day ian challenged me to a game. later on we decided we probably shouldn't play jenga for awhile because i was in a foul mood after i lost. it was really fun though! and we have been able to resume our jenga playing because i am no longer angry! We had the actual formal itself at the children's museum! so after we ate there we got to play everywhere! then we danced! everything was so cute! they had kid candy everywhere, like gumballs, pixie sticks, ring pops, cupcakes, and lots more!

the first weekend i had free because soccer was over a group of soccer girls went to a concert in texas and then stayed with the girls on the team from texarkana. We saw Jason Aldean, Eric Church, and Love and Theft. it was a great weekend! we got to shoot skeet, eat crawfish e tu fe (spelling? ha), and just be away from Clinton! It was a blast.

ian hurt himself again. he was playing flag football and got his finger stuck in a guys shirt, while trying to make a tackle. two different plays. two different fingers. two different hands. he broke his pinky and his ring finger. he had to have surgery on the ring finger bc he tore the tendon off of it. he is in a brace for 6-9 weeks plus a splint on his pinky bc if he messes it up again he has to get a pin put in it. awesome. we give him a hard time because he looks like a dork with something on both hands, but he feeling good, still on pain medicine. between the two of us we spend way to much time in doctors offices, but we're making it!

so this past week was CRAZY!!!! 1)wednesday my parents, and ians parents met for the first time! ian and i were freaking out, but everything turned out just fine. our parents are very similar. our dads are now attached at the hip and our moms, who usually go to bed at 9:30, stayed up till 11:30 two nights in a row!!!!!!! 2)one of my best friends was here too! she took a tour of MC while she was here, she stayed with me for 5 days, which was a blast! 3) swaps and socials chair (me) had to throw an event on friday for all the freshman girls and whoever else wanted to come. it went really well. we had pizza, music, and dancing! everything turned out great! 4) i had two soccer games which i got zero playing time because of my pulled hip flexor but hopefully thats over now! 5)not to mention schoolwork but you know that stuff doesnt really bother me to much :) i think they weekend was a hit, here are some pics. later days...

For ian's 20th birthday we packed up and headed home for 2 days. we went with my family to the farm for a whole day of fishing and good food. he was really excited when i told him. i think he was mostly excited to see his real girlfriend...Anniboo. so preseason is here. the night before the fitness test i got sick and through up. were not sure what it was, but it wasnt fun. i was out for 2 days after that. today was my first day back and i was soo ready! the fitness is killer but im hanging in there and working hard. a little weak, but ill suck it up and be fine. would love your prayers. the knee is hanging in there. time for a nap. later days.....#10

so i worked on the ropes course most of july and august instead of being a counselor. it was completely different, but i really loved it. it was more relaxing for sure because i wasnt looking out for 11 kids every second, but i do love having a cabin full of girls. my "boss" was awesome. shes more like my second mom than anything. a very wise woman that i got to follow around and glean off her wisdom everyday. it was a great summer at kanakuk.

obviously school ended. finally. and yours truly made the dean's list. poor ian made it through all his exams and his 3 weeks of makeup work, that was a rough couple of weeks, he lived in the library till 12 every night, but he made it!

yay that summer started! i had about 2 or 3 weeks before i headed off to kamp. one was spent at the lake for a solid week. amazing. moo love has the pictures from all that. i had some cooking lessons at the lake. moo and i totally put the boys to shame with grilling chicken and steaks. i think we will be taking over that job now. AH found a rat friend one day, hysterical. ill have to get the pics from moo to put on here.

the famjam went to a biscuits baseball game together. so fun. dad treated us to all the boiled peanuts, cotton candy, cokes, dippin dots, and hamburgers you could ever want.

staff training/work week started may 19. ian and i drove up to missouri. it lasted till june 1st. but my term as a counselor started june 1st so i just stayed until the 25th. i had 13-14 year old, they were an absolute blast! i got to learn so much from them. we had way to much fun in cabin 1 thats for sure! my co-counselors were great, loved them. i drove boats pretty much all day everyday. tubing and skiing girls was really fun, got a few good sunburns...im home for a few days but ill head back up pretty soon. i just got in tonight and the 3 sisters already had a night out. we all went to see a movie. it was a blast. sister bonding at its best. sorry its been so long since ive updated, ill try and do better. here are some pics

Ian and I drove home from school to spend the weekend with the famjam at the farm. it was a really fun weekend that involved fishing, killing bees, riding in the ranger, shooting guns, playing soccer with anniboo, watching movies, and eating home cooked meals. we were very sad we had to leave the farm, but thanks for a great weekend!!

orlando was a blast! i was there for a whole week staying with some close family friends of ian's but also close friends of mine! and they just happen to live down the street from ian! i was there from friday to friday. alot of the days consisted of waking up at 9 and walking down to ians to watch every boy movie known to man. ian was still on alot of pain med, and couldnt really move his neck so he couldnt do much at all. one day baby sadler, bibb, and amy drove up from tallahassee to go to disney for the day! ian's aunt had gotten us park hopper passes! we were so thankful for those! another day we drove about 2 hours to see the shuttle launch. it was a night launch and from what i heard are way cooler than any other normal launch. but me being the southern girl i am, havent seen so many of those so i just thought it was great! orlando was a ton of fun, i watch many a war movie, got to play with a huge dog named jack, got to stay with an awesome family, eat some great food, and one day i was even surprised with my favorite flowers! ian and i left orlando and drove up to the lake for the weekend. he got to meet both my sisters and my brother in law for the first time! ha what a weekend, not to mention he was still on oxycodon. but he did a good job, and i think the family likes him. :) here are some pics from spring break.

so for those who havent heard yet. yes the rumor is true. i have a boyfriend. haha still a little weird to say, but ill get used to it. i would tell you his name and where he is from, and all about him but my oldest sister would then call me and chew me out for putting his information on here. she's afraid of mr. internet predator. anyways. we will just call the boyfriend the bf. ha my family is going to make so much fun of me after they read this, bc who blogs about their boyfriend? but all of you reading would have been mad at me if i hadnt told you until i saw all of you, so ill just have to take their ridicule. so anyways me and the bf have been friends for awhile. ha meaning first semester. and its just so funny how the lord works bc i was so adimit about not having a bf my freshman year, but the lord likes to laugh at me so he let this awesome christian guy waltz into my life. anyways so me and the bf have so many connections through kanakuk. we actually knew alot about each other before we actually met because one of his best guyfriends from kamp is also one of mine! which is really cool, bc you all know how much i love kamp! which that reminds me im working there this summer! i was really excited when i found out!

so super long story of our relationship, that ill tell you later. but also bf decides he has a brain problem and has to have brain surgery. well actually he was born with it, but it didnt give him issue until the 10th grade, bf was being recruited as a sophomore in highschool by D1 teams for football. but he started passing out everytime he would tackle someone. well thats not good, so he went to the doc, and after multiple EKGs, CAT scans, and MRIs, they found out that he had

a chiari malformation. which pretty much means his brain is to big for his skull and so it means theres alot of pressue, i mean its more complicated than that. you can just ask him about it. ha or google it. anyways so he had to stop playing football, he would get really bad migraines but other than that not to much changed. well that was until the beginning of 2nd semester this year, so january. he started to notice it was hard to open things like a 2 liter coke bottle, or pull back the tap on a pringles can. so we get back to school and it became alot worse, it got to the point where he couldnt hold his pen, bc his hand would get to tired. well he talks to his neurologist in FL (where he's from ha). and doc says he needs to go get an MRI and blood work done ASAP. so off to the emergency room we go (well i was in class for some of it, yes coaches i went to class...that day) and they say you def. need brain surgery. and well long story short 3 so odd weeks later bf is driving home to FL to have surgery. so he had surgery on feb 27th. and surgery went great. he was in a heck of alot of pain, but he just got out of ICU and into a regular room yesterday. today he got his last IV taken out, and was finally able to take a shower. he was so happy...and so was his mom....and probably all his nurses. so the bf is still recovering but doing really well. he isnt allowed to do anything for 2 more weeks. so for spring break (13-21) i am going down there. then we will drive back from FL to monkeytown then back to MC, and he will meet almost all of the siblings! and whoever else is in town. hahaha the poor kid doesnt even know whats in store for him when he comes into town. haha but anyways. sorry its been awhile. obviously my life has been slightly crazy. but the knee is okay, rehab is still pretty lame. but anyways here is a pic of me and the bf from 1st semester way before he was even my bf. hope all is well. miss you and love you. later days.....#10

about a week ago i got to go to a celine dion concert with the best group ever! one of my best friends and i had always talked about going, we thought we would be 25 by the time we could go, but my sisters friend emailed me and my sis moo love and said that tickets were super cheap....so im thinking like 50 bucks...since celine tickets are usually like 200. well we got tickets for 27.50! it was absolutely insane. so me and 2 girls from school met my sister and her best friend and my best friend from highschool in bham for the concert! well need i remind you that i am in a brace from my hip to my knee and my sister is 8 months pregnant. so needless to say we did cause a scene. a very big one. well we treck up to our upper deck seats....interesting moment. well we make it up and this man comes up to me and ask if we would like to sit closer and of course you know the answer. so we go all the way down and i was thinking like row 10 of the upper deck instead of row 40....but o know we move down to the lower deck row 20!!!! celine was so close!!! we had a blast of a night and belted out all her songs! so needless to say we paid 27.50 for an unforgettable night with celine dion....

school is going great. test week is coming up. the knee is doing well. the last time i bent it to 125 degrees so that is good. hope all is well. love you all. later days.....#10

2nd semester.....

so im back at school, the knee is doing well! i am in rehab 2 days a week, then the other days i have exercises to do on my own. i was told by my doctor that i had to be bent at 90 degrees by feb 20th. well on the 1st day of rehab ( jan 13th) i pushed to 90 degrees. so that is good. today was my 3rd time to go to rehab and i pushed to 115 degrees, but my trainer told me i should probably take my medicine when i got back to the dorm because i was going to be in some pain, boy was he right! i rode the bike at a pretty good pace, he was telling me that i needed to take it slower...oops! so rehab is going well, its painful but im pushing through it. my scar doesnt look so bad right now, i have a feeling it will get worse though. i try to be careful when i shave that knee so it looks pretty gross right now. haha.

classes are going well. i have one of the greatest classes ever! its a KIN class and it is all about sports and why they are so great! is that my cup of tea or what! all the other classes arent to bad, they all just last so stinking long!

i hoping to go on alot of road trips this semester, i really want to visit my best friends, some are at bama, one in dallas, and two in arkansas! they are all over! i really need to make it down to my cousins soccer game in tx too, i hear she is pretty hardcore! haha i taught her well.

my sister is having a baby really really soon!!! i cant wait to skip some class for that one to! well miss you guys and love you all. maybe one day ill put pics up that ive been promising for forever! later days....

so im out of surgery and back at home. i went into the hospital about 10 and left about 3 maybe. everything went great! i loved every minute of it, i sort of felt like i was on greys anatomy, which is awesome. i didnt get to wear my glasses so i didnt really get to see much , but it was definitely fun. is surgery supposed to be fun? ha i think not. the anesthesia was amazing! and i didnt get sick after so that was good. so im now in a brace from my ankle to my upper thigh and im not allowed to take it off or bed my knee, which is impossible in this brace, until jan 7th when i go to the doctor again. so it should be an interesting couple of days!! im not in to much pain yet, but its prob because my nerve block hasnt worn off yet, and i have started my medicine, but it doesnt knock me out which is kind of sad...i was excited about that part. but everything will be fine! thanks for all your prayers and phone calls! my dads phone ended up dieing in the hospital bc my family kept calling, hysterical! love you all, im going to take my brace and bandages off tomorrow when G-love gets here even though im not supposed to, but i just really want to see how huge it is! ill post some pictures soon! later days.....

christmas and knee surgery...

so its still christmas holidays! praise the Lord! sadly enough, my house is no longer like a hotel! everyone has left, no more parties! right when i got home from school i had sip and sees, baptism brunches, and so many other things to go to. needless to say i had to dress cute every single day! that was no fun, but the parties were! so it been quite quiet at the house, but not for much longer...on tuesday all you will here is "MOM!!!! I NEED SOME MORE DRUGS!!!". so im having knee surgery on the 30th...what a new years! i hope i wont be in to much pain...im not to sure what to expect, but i know it all will go well. im actually excited about it. i will get to watch movies all day and read by the fire if its not 70 degrees outside...i seem positive but im sure it wont last to long. this is going to stink!! but at least it will be fixed...hopefully. but anyways hopefully i will be able to update most days and maybe put up pics from xmas and other fun things. love you all. hope you have a great break!

this post is kind of different from my other ones but i just need to get some stuff out. (knowing full well my fam will prob joke on me about this later)

im stuggling. i had 3 goals for my freshman year of college.

number 3 was to actually study in school. i made it through all of high school without really ever studying. i never needed to. i made all a's and b's and never had to try. man what i could do if i actually tried. so number 3 was to study. to actually learn things.

number 2 was for soccer. yes i know this is out of order and school should come before sports, but welcome to my life. sports will always come before school. so soccer. im getting to play college soccer. what an awesome thing. yet also frustrating. very frustrating. all i wanted to do was excell, and i made it through an entire season without playing to my full potential. i know what i am capable of but i couldnt ever seem to put it into play on the field. needless to say having a bum knee (that i have surgery on over break), and a pulled quad did not help this issue. i knew there would be a transition from highschool soccer to college soccer, but i mean come on its division 3. not that we arent good, we are. its just not D1. so soccer season was not as productive as i pictured. i will say i learned alot and the team was absolutely amazing! i love the soccer girls and the coaches, i dont know what i would have done without them.

number 1. a no brainer, my walk with the Lord. finding out who i really am without parents looking over my shoulder, asking me if i went to church, if i did my quiet time.... learning/choosing to make those decisions on my own. and man has the lord taken me on a "field trip" (is what my mom likes to call it) i learned so much during the first month of school. the Lord taught me so much about myself and Him through an experience along side with the book called "calm my anxious heart." what an amazing book! the lord is continuing to mold me and make me into the women he wants. and i love that. but lately ive really been struggling with his plan for me. i know all the right answers. i know that its perfect, and better than any plan i could ever even imagine. but i dont know what it is. actually i havent the slightest idea. i dont know what i am supposed to do with my life. and i know im just a freshman and im not really even supposed to know. but i do know that the lord has insane plans for my life. i know that im going to be a part of something big. something i could never dream of. and so why i am so confused is i dont have a platform. now i could see if my childhood dreams of playing professional ball came true. yea that could be my platform, as i witness to the entire u.s. national girls team...but last time i checked u.s. scouts didnt come looking at division 3 schools for players...much less ones that havent even started a game yet. or heck maybe my platform could have been a D1 school. who knows. i know i am supposed to be at MC. i know i am. i just dont think that a small baptist private christian college is my platform. yes i know i can make a difference there, but i dont think i can change the world from there. it very well may start there and who knows where the lord will take me. i want a platform. like tonight i watched tim tebow win numerous awards and every time he won, the first words out of his mouth were about christ, one award he won wasnt even about football...it was about what he did off the field, all of it was about his faith. all the millions of people that adore him and were watching tonight saw that. what a platform! check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUc_JO7A6OU.

this weekend was a crazy fun filled weekend...we had a swap with one of the boys tribes on thursday night, then we left that to go see the 12:01 showing of twilight the movie, which was amazing and i have already seen it twice in theatre now...then we had movie night and cooked dinner for a couple of our guy friends on friday night, then woke up saturday and went to the LSU game, which was so fun! im so sick of school and ready for thanksgiving! later days....

sorry i havent posted in i dont know how long, but its been awhile! first of all, the soccer team made it to the conference tournament! we placed 3rd so we had a pretty nice bracket of teams to play. we won the first game 2-1 in overtime, it was a tough game but we played well. the 2nd day we played probably the best we have ever played and we lost 2-1 in double overtime, there was under a min left to play before we went to penalty kicks and they scored. so that was sad, but we played well and the team we lost to got spanked the next day in the championship. im going to miss soccer during the off season but it will be a nice break. i have already found things to occupy my time...which leads me to my 2nd thing...COLDPLAY CONCERT!! i had so much, they were absolutely amazing live!! it was in ATL so we left after our morning classes to drive 5 hours..our group was 2 girls and 2 guys, all of us from MC and we had a blast!! the driving wasnt bad at all but then again i didnt ever have to drive, the boys did all of it! so the last thing to update you about is formal in memphis! it was so so much fun! i had a great date and an awesome group. almost all the girls and boys soccer teams were there, which is really rare so we had a blast!! here are some picks from all these events! miss you all and love you tons!!! later days and yea and i got my hair cut..you mite can't even tell a difference...

life has been so crazy in my world...my brother had a baby, my parents flew overseas to see them, rush stuff is insane and taking over my life, all, yes all boys are dumb, the soccer team is doing awesome and is headed to the conference tournament, and so much more...i am having a blast though! for a while there i was starting to think college was going to be really lame, but it has gotten so much better. soccer is going well like i said. we traveled 2 of the last 3 weekends, soccer roadtrips are so much fun, we travel with the mens team so there is never a dull moment! this next weekend we are headed to the conference tournament, we hope to win first and get a ring, and move onto regionals! formal is the next weekend and im really excited! i have a fun date and a great group to go with, it should be a really fun weekend! one of my "sisters", a senior girl in laguna has become one of my really close friends, she has an apartment here so it has been really nice to get away from campus and to cook our food!! i love her so much, we are having way to much fun! we are a whole lot alike, i dont know what ill do with out her next year!! well im off...later days

sorry its been so long since my last post. things are crazy here at MC. if you hadnt noticed already i found out what tribe i am in. LAGUNA! its what it was my first pref so that is exciting! i love the girls in my tribe, we are already having a blast! the pics above are from squal night. laguna pledge stuff keeps us so so busy. we have something most every night and plus i have soccer, so needless to say my schedule is crazy! right now were are preparing for follies every night from 9-12. follies is a 10 min. skit/dance thing that each freshman pledge class puts on for everyone else. girls and guys. its this huge deal that you have to buy tickets to and all this crazy stuff. kind of sounds like step sing for samford. tonight is senior night for the LT (laguna tribe) girls. pretty much mean we are going to get really really nasty, they told us to wear something that we could possibly throw away after the night was over. awesome.... tomorrow we have a swap with the civitan guys (a boys club, like a fraternity) so that should be really fun. i also have a soccer game and follies practice tomorrow. wow i told you life is insane. well ill be home this weekend for fall break. well i actually wont be home until late saturday night, because we have a huge soccer game on sat afternoon, but i wont be leaving to come back to school until tues morning. yay im so excited to get to see my best friends and family and sleep in my own bed! i cant wait!!! love you all. later days....

so yes another night of dressing up. it was so so fun. the tribes that did their skits were ST and NT. ST's theme was the bachelor, so you had to dress up like you were going on a date or like a vegetable.(theyre mascot is a bunny) and for NT their theme was step up 2....the greatest hiphop dance movie ever!!! so we dressed up like a dance crew! so tight! i had a blast the whole night. and of course we had an after party with NT. super fun dancing!! now to choose what tribe to rush...haha who knows!! love you all....later days.... so we had rush skits tonight. these are where the 4 tribes put on a 45 min. skit so we can learn more about them. we had 2 tonight and we have 2 tomorrow. the tribes sent us a note last night at 1 am to tell us what we had to wear to their skit. Laguna told us we had to dress up as either a ninja or a pirate...obviously i chose the ninja because it is way cooler...Kissimee told us to be a shoe....a shoe really? so me and one of my good friends Bri decided to be a pair of nike tennis shoes...our outfits kicked tail and were awesome...the skits were great they both did a good job, but the best part was the after party with Laguna! we had a blast dancing for forever! more updates tomorrow...later days. #10

college life is crazy but im absolutely loving it! sorry i havent updated in awhile... So much as been going on. rush just started, my quad is still hurting so i have rehab everyday, im starting to actually have test in my classes, and other interesting things are happening...;)

the Lord is teaching me so much through all these crazy times. the main thing He has been teaching me is about contentment. im a reading the book "Calm my anxious heart" and it is absolutely amazing...the Lord and his plan are so big! i hope i can explain to you more in better detail when things start to unfold. it is a fun adventure, very difficult at some times but its all worth what im learning. sorry for being so vague but ill explain later. later days....#10

after a long week of solid practice the day before one of our games my quad decides to start hurting. well i continue to play and go talk to the trainer after practice and so we iced it and put this electrical stem unit on it. and she tells me to come see her in the a.m. so i do and she tells me she doesnt want me to play but she will just wrap it up really tight and i could play. well i only lasted a half bc she told me i couldnt go back in. so i had more treatment that afternoon and this morning she told me i couldnt play at all today. so i have a pulled quad and am out for a week. lame but its okay. so mr. internet predator if you want to come steal me you might want to now bc i cant even run away from you now...sweet...later days

Tribes and Clubs...

so there are no sororities at MC but there are these things called tribes. Its alot like rush but different at the same time. there are four tribes for girls and 4 clubs for guys. the girls tribes are Laguna, Swannanoa, Kissimee, and Nenamoosha. we had our first rush thing last night to meet all the tribes and it was really fun. i still dont really know what i want to be but i have a while to figure that out so im not stressing. the two that i know the most about are Laguna and Nenamoosha. i have heard the typical stereo types for all of the tribes but i still want to get to know the girls in them before i make my decision. but i know that my sis would want to know them. so this is just what ive heard. Laguna is the chill athletes, their colors are blue and yellow, and their mascot is a mouse. Swannanoa is the sweet, quiet girls, their colors are green and white, and their mascot is an owl or a bunny. Kissimee is the most diverse, their colors are pink and white, and their mascot is an elephant. this tribe was one of the smallest a few years ago but it has totally made a comeback and has alot of members now. Nenamoosha is the girls that dress up for everything, their colors are black and red, and their mascot is a bear or a heart. anyways so those are the tribes and i really have no clue what i want, i know what all of you that know me are thinking because i obviously fit quite well under one of those stereo types but who knows...im keeping an open mind. well love you all and miss you tons. and dad if you make fun of my spelling one more time im totally blocking you from reading this! haha love you! later days......# 10.....o by the was soccer is going well and coach talked to me the other day and told me they were changing my position. so i was playing defense but they decided they want me at center mid and this other position that is kind of defense but i would only play it when we run this special defense. anyways ill explain it later.. later....

yay! we won the tournament! the soccer team flew to Frederick, MD for a soccer tournament this past weekend. We left on Friday morning so i got to skip classes, even better! but we played one game on sat. against McDaniel College and we beat them 3-0. i got to play a little center mid and a little defense. not to much playing time but its all good. that night we traveled to DC and went to see the white house and eat at the cheese cake factory. it was so yummy! the next day (today) we played in the championship game against Kings College and beat them 2-0. i got to play alot more than the day before so that was good. i played center mid again so im starting to think they like me better there than at defense but who know!! im having a blast! were staying at a hotel in DC for the night and who know maybe a couple more (because of the hurricane). tomorrow we are sight seeing and all that jazz, they think our flights will get cancelled so we will have to stay another night in DC. gosh darn.... anyways well we're off to dinner but miss you and love you all! later days..... #10

so my first day of classes was yesterday and they all went really. well my schedule is amazing!! i already dropped all my 8 o'clock classes...but I'm taking 17 hours so its all good. i leave for Maryland tomorrow for our soccer tournament so that should be fun. i got a bunch of our gear today so it was like Christmas all over again! coach is only going to dress out 27 players and 3 keepers so hopefully ill be in that 27! it will be a bummer if im not.

my bed is really comfortable and im sleeping so good! my roomie has 8 o'clock classes and i never even wake up. sweet. i ran into a wall last night in the bathroom...i wasnt cool i def. ate some wall with my face. it hurts today but i dont think you can tell or anything...that would be embarrassing. but it was really funny but no one was there to laugh with me so that was lame...k well got to finish packing! later days...

so i just finished my first game and it was a blast! i was supposed to play in the alumni game and the tuscaloosa game but the tuscaloosa game got rained out! but i got to play in both halfs. i played left back the first half and played center mid the 2nd half. it was really fun playing with a bunch of girls who actually know what is going on!! we won the game and it was a blast i feel really good all the 5 am running has paid off! i love college soccer!! later days

so today i experienced my first ice bath...not fun. we had to get in for 7 mintues..i know not that long but the first couple of mins were painful but after that you body goes numb! haha no its not so bad after that except you cant really walk. but anyways only a couple more days of waking up at 5 am to run! tomorrow is my first game im playing in the alumni game and then getting on a bus to drive to ttown to play in another game! i know it will be really fun! miss you all im sure your sick of reading about soccer but thats all my life has consisted of for the past week! my roomie comes tomorrow!! yay so i wont be so lonely now! love you all...later days

wooo! another day over! today we got to sleep in until 7:30! and we were so excited.. that is really sad when you think that is sleeping in! but anyways we had a hard afternooon practice and it rained to it was still fun with the mud and all. life is still pretty good. the girls on the team are all very talented, there arent alot of weak links...which kind of stinks. ill prob not see alot of playing time bc they are pretty stacked in the defense! but its all good. coach picks on me alot, i think that means he likes me...but who knows! love you all and miss you tons! later days..

so i had to wake up at 5:15 this AM and let me tell you it was fun....o wait i have to do that for the next week!! yay! hahaha but i passed the fitness test i was worried about! it wasnt near as bad as i was planning but still pretty tough! ive already met some awesome girls! this next year is going to be great! my room is awesome! i will try to put some pics up later. for the next week tho my life is soccer from 6AM to 10PM CRAZY!! but im loving it! so i gotta run and sorry if i dont get to talk to the famjam as much as you would like but i love you all and i miss you! by the way i owe the awesomness of my room to my mom and dad they worked so hard while i was in soccer meetings all day! love you!! later days....

so only 2 more days until i finally get to move in to my new home for the next year! im pretty sick of just stayin in this hotel. My roomie and I are going to have the cutest room for sure. i will be sure to post some pics when we are all finished. my soccer fitness test is on mon. morning at 6am, its going to stink big time! but then after that the season starts yay! hopefully ill actually get to play! i did find out that i do get to travel to my first game! if you want to know where it is look it up because if i put the location on here my sister will get mad and think that a internet predator will come to my game and kill me....anyways the link is on the side. later days.

so i went to the farm with three of my best friends. kind of like the last time we would be together before we all headed off for college. we had a blast all day shooting skeet and riding the ranger. we decided that this should be an annual event! we cant wait till thanksgiving to do it again! love you guys!

I just got a new mac computer for college and decided that i should start a blog. Everyone else in the famjam has one so why not me? Since im going of to college i figured it would be easier for my fam to keep up with me and more fun! so we will see how this goes. I'm sure i wont be as good at it as my sisters, but we'll give it a try.
